We did it! Our 2021 Service Learning trip to Duluth was a success! Over the last week of July, 9 youth, 2 adults, and a whole lot of crazy excitement ventured a couple hours north to Duluth, MN! During the trip, the group stayed at Camp Amnicon, located just east of Superior, WI on the shore of Lake Superior. When the group wasn’t at camp, we were in Duluth, working with a host of different organizations, each with it’s own unique way of helping out the communities of Duluth. For the trip, we partnered with Service Learning Camps, or SLC. An organization puts an emphasis on learning about each organization and why they do what they do to help the community. We can’t thank them enough for an amazing experience and we hope to partner with them again in the future. Lastly, from all the youth and volunteers, we want to thank Zion for continuing to support our youth and helping us to give them the opportunities to go on these trips! We all greatly appreciate it.
