In November, Zion Pre-K had its annual food drive to support the ACBC food shelf. Students/families were asked to bring in pasta, peanut butter, soup, and cereal. All items were accepted but students were given the goal to donate non-perishable food that they may eat themselves. The highlight in donating came in adding feathers to the turkey. Each item donated equaled one turkey feather. The students were excited to see the quantity of feathers increase, a visual way to see the growth of their generosity.
