Prayer Team Members Needed
Prayer Teams are now being formed and all are invited to join. As a member of a prayer team you will pray for the prayer requests that we receive through the green prayer cards, gather the cards before the 11 a.m. service and then, with the rest of the team, pray for those joys or concerns. This is also a great time to share any of your own personal prayer concerns or thanksgivings and to pray for the ministry we share at Zion. The commitment is once every eight weeks from 10:45 a.m.-12 noon. If you are interested contact Pastor Sue Wallager.
Prayer…We were new to Zion Lutheran and had just moved to Anoka because my husband was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease. Untethered from our former church family, trying to find a new church home…I needed help. The Green Prayer Request card, the promise that a “team” prayed for all requests…thank you, Father God! He provided what I needed right when I needed it. A church family that would pray for my concerns. I am so grateful. Please fill out a green card when you need someone to pray for a concern or need.
