With no snowflakes in the air or on the ground, the Women of Zion proceeded with their Spring Luncheon on May 12. The lunch was prepared by Chef Traci Donahoe and served by the capable hands of Rolland Voelker and Fred Montei.
This year the proceeds from this annual event will provide dollars toward a Seminary Intern at Zion and will support our children and youth who will be attending Camp Wapo Bible Camp and participating in the ELCA National Youth Gathering in Houston, Texas.
“Are you man enough?” That’s one of the taglines for “Walk a Mile in Her Shoes”, an “international men’s march to stop rape, sexual assault, and gender violence.”

138 Quilts Made! Our quilting ladies have been blessed this year to make 138 quilts! Twenty quilts went to Lutheran World Relief this summer.
